Since the company’s inception in 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the company has provided urgent and primary care services to an average of 250,000 patient visits per year in multiple clinic locations in Utah, Nevada, and North Dakota.
Rachot Vacharothone, MD, “Doctor Rachot” to his friends and patients, built 10 urgent care/primary care clinics and created in 2009 a successful direct care employer and consumer medical capitation-subscription-based payment program in the country that saves his employer clients and patients hundreds of thousands of dollars each year while guaranteeing that their basic medical care needs are met.
In 2017 Medallus Medical was invited to bid for Jamestown Public School District, Jamestown, North Dakota, for a near-site medical clinic bid.
Medallus secured the near-site clinic bid services for Jamestown Public Schools District and has provided full-service urgent care, walk-in care, and primary care for the Jamestown, North Dakota community and its ongoing related efforts and financial investment since 2018, and in 2024 was awarded a similar bid award for West Fargo Public Schools located in West Fargo, North Dakota, and for Mandan Public Schools for 2025.
The Medallus Medical North Dakota operations are overseen by Noelle Riehl, BSN, MSN, FNP-C, the Jamestown Medallus Medical Clinic CEO, and have patient-referring relationships with the specialists at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Sanford Health Providers and Hospitals, Essentia Health Providers and Hospitals, and St. Alexius/CHI.
